Lilwin granted 50,000 cedis bail – Here’s all you need to know

Popular Kumawood actor Lil Win has been granted bail of GH₵50,000 with 2 sureties by the Asokore Mampong district Court.

He is to reappear in court on June 27, 2024.

Lil Win was arrested on Monday, June 3 by the Manhyia Divisional police command over his involvement in an accident that claimed the life of a 3-year-old.

The fatal incident occurred at Amakom in Kumasi on May 25 hours before the premiere of his movie ‘A Country Called Ghana’ at the KNUST auditorium.

The actor was arrested as soon as he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on Monday morning.

The three-year-old, Richard Nana Yaw Ampomah reportedly lost his life while receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital on Saturday, May 25 hours after the accident at Amakom in Kumasi.

Nana Yaw is reported to have occupied the front passenger seat of his father’s vehicle when it collided with LilWin’s branded Mercedes benz. Witnesses say the actor was driving at a top speed when the crash occurred.

Blakk Cedi, the former manager of Stonebwoy, has reacted to his victory at the 25th Telecel Music Awards (TGMA).

Stonebwoy won the Artiste of the Year at the just-ended TGMA.

In a post sighted by Zionfelix.net, Blakk Cedi congratulated Stonebwoy.

He stated that it is an award well deserved and even more for the Bhim Nation boss.

Cedi said he wasn’t surprised Stonebwoy won the biggest award at the 25th TGMA.

He said Stonebwoy’s work ethic, drive and passion for what he does is unmatched.

The former manager thanked Stonebwoy’s wife, Dr Louisa Satekla and team members for their support and contributions.

He further urged Ghanaians to continue supporting him in taking on the world.

Blakk Cedi concluded by offering encouragement to King Promise, stating that he did well and his big day is near and almost here.

According to a post by Citi FM on Monday, 3rd June 2024, Lil Win was taken into police custody shortly after being discharged from the hospital.

His arrest is connected to a recent car accident that tragically resulted in the death of a three-year-old boy.

On 25th May, Lil Win was involved in a car accident just hours before the much-anticipated premiere of his movie “A Country Called Ghana” in Kumasi.

He and other victims were immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention. While Lil Win was recovering from his injuries, a recent report revealed the tragic death of a young victim involved in the crash.

The young child, who was three years old, passed away after Lil Win’s car collided with theirs. A relative of the deceased child confirmed the news during a live radio interview with Angel FM on Monday, 27th May.
